First - Thanks to everyone on this board - Excellent mature discussions with lots of good point/counterpoint.Second - I just made my deal and got a TC29D ($13,200) with Super Steer ($1,100) and a 914A 72" mid mount mower ($2,500) with filled turfs (dished out) to be delivered this week. total $16,800. I never did get a price form Richie Tractor (I made three requests). I did not go with the front loader. I will only have need of it once or twice a year, so I made a deal with a neighbor - You can use my wide mower a few times on your yard if you let me use your kubota w/front loader once or twice. We both thought it a good idea for the time being..... I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again all.

Sounds like a great deal! How much extra would the loader have been? I'm really considering the TC25D, but the price seems as high (or higher) than your 29. Oh well, time to deal. ....

Congrats, Doug. I,too, would like to thank all the folks contributing to the message board. This has been a great help! My TC29D will be delivered tomorrow. Price on mine was $16,600 with 72" mid-mount, filled turfs, but no supersteer, so you definitely got a deal. I did get a quote from Ritchie and they were about $1,000 higher. My local dealer also gave me a great trade in for my old equipment- I actually made $1,000 over what I paid 10 yrs ago! I would advise anyone interested in NH or Deer compacts to get their order in. It seems the factories can't keep up. I even had to go with a rear discharge deck cause the side discharge is 4 wks out. ....

I took delivery on my TC29D this weekend. I bought it from Antietam Ford Tractor, near HagerstownMaryland. They were great to deal with. I posted the pricing before, but here itis again: Tc29D, fluid filled industrial tires, 7308 loader, Woods 72" rear mount finish mower, $17,689 delivered (tax included in the price). I got a $5378 trade in allowance on a Cub Cadet 2185 lawn tractor with 48" mower. This is a great machine which will see a lot of use. I put over 8 hours on it thisweekend. ....
